Pilgrimage involves an ascetic journey of two whole days marked by fasting and community service, culminating in a meditative experience at an impressive vista. The experience provides a greater perspective on life that also symbolizes attaining the third stage of human consciousness.
Those who are 24 years of age or older may ask to be led on a pilgrimage, signifying the beginning of a transition from committed membership, to leadership as a Triumphant Hero in The Assemblage of Areté.
